Enjoy a night show has become one of the most important things to do in Beijing, especially for the first time visitors. Peking Opera show is one of the oldest performing arts practiced in China, and the spectacular skills honed over centuries are on display in this entertaining show. Enjoy an evening of Beijing Opera, which is a synthesis of stylized action, singing, dialogue and mime, acrobatic fighting and dancing to represent a story or depict different characters and their feelings of gladness, anger, sorrow, happiness, surprise, fear and sadness. (60 minutes).
Itinerary:
At approximately 6pm, you will receive complimentary hotel pick up service from your centrally located hotel in Beijing, board on the air-conditioned coach and transfer you to Liyuan Theater where you will enjoy an 80-minute Beijing Opera show.

In Beijing Opera there are four main types of roles: sheng (male) dan (young female), jing( painted face,male), and chou (clown, male or female). The characters may be loyal or treacherous, beautiful or ugly, good or bad, their images being vividly manifested. Within the long history of Beijing Opera, the performance at the Liyuan Theatre is the most classic introduction to the performing art. After the show, you will be transferred back to your centrally located hotel in Beijing.
